How therapy works, and what you can expect from our sessions 

Beginning therapy, even if you've tried it before, can be a daunting experience. It takes a lot of courage to open up to another human being, but this is where healing begins.

Humanistic therapy is quite different from other kinds of therapy which are organised around worksheets, setting goals and implementing techniques. It takes longer, goes deeper, and has a more profound effect. In humanistic therapy, it is the relationship that heals. As your therapist it is my job to accept you for who you are, support you, understand your point of view, and challenge you in ways that will promote your growth while keeping you safe and grounded.

 

For many of my clients, this is the first genuine, authentic relationship of their lives, and the first chance they have to get to know who they really are.

I will get back to you as soon as I can. I'll email you a copy of my information and consent form for you to look over, and we can have a quick phone call (free of charge) to have a chat and answer any questions you may have. Sessions take place over Zoom and cost £50 for 50 minutes (concessions available). I work 9-5 Mon to Fri, and you can have sessions at whatever schedule suits you.
